These brothers were getting ready for their family Christmas card photo. They are such nice young men and always fun to photograph!

Senior Boy from 2012
Sometimes the senior boys are not excited about taking pictures, but
mom wants the pics, you know what I mean? So I like to try to make our photo shoots enjoyable so
those seniors walk away thinking "that wasn't so bad after all," and also
happy that they have some great new pics to update their Facebook
profile. We had a good time on this senior shoot. I was impressed
by this young man's outlook on his life. He already had specific skills
and interests that he wants to pursue. To someone who didn't declare
her major until after she completed all her general ed's and had no other classes to take, that is admirable! Congratulations Class of 2012!
Class of 2012!
This was a fun senior shoot from last fall. We did some studio shots first. And unfortunately got rained out of the outdoor shots. We rescheduled and the weather cooperated. Seniors are fun because they have so much potential and so many exciting things waiting just around the corner for them. Best of wishes class of 2012!
Later he came back for an Eagle Scout Portrait. He earned his Eagle award by serving in a project that helped finding homes for the homeless (if my memory serves me correct it has been a little while). What a worthwhile contribution! Youth like that give me faith in the future.

Last Senior of the Year
Saturday, October 10, 2009
One of the funnest things about a senior portrait session is trying creatively and artistically capture the interests, talents and personality of some amazing people. This senior girl has been very involved during high school, and so we had fun on her senior shoot going from the pool to a secret garden in ballet slippers, concluding with some funky walls and bridges in Everett.

Every time I drive past this bridge I think about wanting to shoot a picture on it. I was excited to finally shoot there, and thrilled to find some other great backgrounds in the area.
